Description
This piece is very close to my heart and was painted during a time when my own Grandma was ill and passed away.
One of the many wonderful memories I have of my beautiful Grandma was her lolly jar sitting in her kitchen. It was one of those big glass jars that sat on an angle with a silver screw top lid as big as your hand! The jar was always filled to the brim with lollies of all kinds, not always in date! There were chocolate eclairs, columbines, minties and of course licorice allsorts!
When we stayed at grandmas I remember every night Grandma and Grandpa would have a cup of tea and on the saucer would be a lolly from the lolly jar!
